Ich habe vor kurzem den Makeup Blender von Barbara Hoffmann zugeschickt bekommen und möchte Euch heute einmal mitteilen, was ich von diesem Schwamm halte!
Not too long ago I received the Makeup Blender by Barbara Hoffmann and today I want to tell you what I think about it!
Der lila Make up Schwamm hat zwei verschiedene Seiten, die durch einen Ring voneinander getrennt sind. Den Ring kann man übrigens abnehmen, wenn er einen stört.
The purple makeup sponge has two different sides that are seperated trough a ring. But you can actually detach the ring.
Die beiden Seiten des Schwamms haben verschiedene Oberflächen und haben somit verschiedene Verwendungszwecke.
Both sides of the sponge have different surfaces with different purposes.
Auf der einen Seite des Schwammes findet man eine reguläre Schwammseite, mit der man Foundation, BB Cream oder auch Concealer auftragen kann.
On one side you have the regular sponge which you can use to apply foundation, bb cream or concealer.
Die andere Seite ist beflockt, hat also eine samtige Oberfläche. Mit dieser kann man Puder auftragen und einarbeiten.
The other side is really velvety and you can use this to apply and work in powder.
Die Schwammseite arbeitet Foundation sehr gut ein, allerdings ist mir die Fläche für Foundations zu klein und ich brauche lange, bis ich mein ganzes Gesicht geschminkt habe. Dafür habe ich leider zu wenig geduld ;) Für Concealer finde ich diese Seite aber sehr gut.
The sponge side applies the foundation really well but the surface is a little too small for my liking and it takes too much time to apply my makeup and I´m not patient enough for that ;). But I like this side for concealer
Die Beflockte Seite finde ich richtig klasse. Man kann mit ihr richtig gut Puder einarbeiten und auch, allerdings kommt man nicht so dicht unter die Augen. Trotzdem finde ich diese Seite echt gut.
The velvety side is really good. You can apply and work in powder really well but you can´t really get close to the eyes. None the less I like this side.
Außerdem lässt sich der Schwamm sehr gut reinigen und sieht nach der Reinigung aus, wie neu!
And the sponge is easy to clean as well. After cleaning it it looks like it´s brand new!
Alles in allem muss ich sagen, dass es mir hier lieber wäre, zwei einzelne Schwämme zu haben, als einen 2 in 1 Schwamm. Die Idee ist zwar gut, aber aufgrund der Formen und Flächen der jeweiligen Seiten gibt es Stellen, an die man schlecht herankommt, bzw, das Auftragen dauert mir einfach zu lange.
Alltogether I need to say that I would have preferred two individual sponges instead of one with two sides in combination. I like the idea but becuase of the shape and the size of the surfaces it´s not the most practical.
