I really need to apologize for not updating in a long time. I had a lot of projects that needed to be done for college and I still have some in progress. But I feel a little relieved at the moment and I´m able to take a small break from all the stress :)

So, today I´m going to tell you something about a CC Cream I´m using at the moment. It´s the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream in Fair.

~The Product~

The Smashbox CC Cream comes is a light colored tube with a black lid. The tube comes in a card board box You´ll get 30ml of product. The whole design is very simple yet chic.

This is what Smashbox says (taken from Smashbox´website):

~My opinion~

Let me say, I was very excited to try out this CC Cream. I always heard people raving about the products of Smashbox but to me they are kind of pricey. So I hesitated in buying their products although I was really curious. But I was so lucky!! I took part in a giveaway aaaaand... I won! I was dancing through my room *yay*. And then it was finally in the mail.

First I want to say I haven´t tried out any CC Cream before. I always wanted to try the one from Etude House but I haven´t yet. Well, since this product is tinted I was even more curious, since the Etude House CC Cream is said to be color changing to adjust to your skin tone.
I was able to pick the shade I want to so I decided to go with the lightest shade since I have a pale skin tone.
The CC Cream has  a pleasant smell and it blends very well with my skin.

But it only gives light coverage, so you have to wear BB Cream or foundation above it if you need coverage.
I haven´t noticed any improvements on dark spots or acne scars yet but I guess it needs a little  more time to show good results, so let´s see...
The cream feels light on the skin and looks very natural.
And yes, it moisturizes well but for me there´s no oil control. My skin tends to become oily very fast and it still becomes oily very fast when I wear this CC Cream.
Oh and before I forget it, I like the fact that this product has SPF30!

+

  • Chic looking packaging

-

  • little coverage
  • no oil control for me

What can I say? I don´t know if I would buy this product again, I really don´t know.

You can buy the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream  here for 42.00$
